Rust College, the oldest HBCU and second-oldest private college in Mississippi, is hosting its 159th Founders’ Week, November 2-9.

The first under the leadership of the College’s 13th president, Dr. Johnny M. Moore, Founders’ Week celebrates our beginnings, reflects on our accomplishments, and looks forward to our future as a premier liberal arts school. Reflecting the theme, Honoring Our Legacy, Embracing Our Future: Celebrating 159 Years of Rich History, While Ushering in a Bold New Era of Leadership, the week will include activities, tributes and learning opportunities.
